AR Reaches America on Climate
Our Impact in 2025
American Resiliency (AR) is the only nonprofit dedicated to climate resilience education for the general public, making complex climate science accessible to every American community. With donor support, we have reached over 480,000 individuals with the information they need to adapt to projected changes on the ground.
We look forward to starting 2026 from a position of strength. Our Strategic Action Plan is in the finalization stage, and it includes ambitious new programs and tools for our supporters, volunteers, and donors.
Here is a Sneak Peek of what we will offer in 2026:
A new website with “Insider-Only” features:
Practical tools, worksheets, and planning resources
In-depth WRITTEN reports and data breakdowns
AR community networking through online meetings
Downloadable handouts with local projection information
And more resources added regularly as we expand together
An expanded Volunteer Program Curriculum to include:
Four hours of training over two new offerings
Part One: a three-part webinar series, Foundations of Community, designed with a licensed psychologist to help build internal resilience, networking skills, and cultivate strategic thinking.
Part Two: an interactive live role-playing experience to prepare volunteers for community organizing obstacles.
…and a look back at the gains and impact we made in 2025, thanks to our donors and volunteers.
AR’s annual funding has doubled, year over year, since our founding in 2021. Your donations are what make this organization, and its growing offerings, possible.

My partner and I officially got weird and moved from NYC to Michigan this year. We traded concrete for cukes in the backyard, density for domes of stars, water taxis for water storage, and like-minds for minds to change. We couldn't have done this in strength and power without you and the AR community's mission of speeding truth to the people. Our heartfelt thanks to y'all. Let's get ready together.
